The Foothills society is having this event in honour of their originator that was a great collector of Indigenous art and she would have loved an event that celebrated the numerous Indigenous cultures that cover the turtles back.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime to have your art seen and shown in a gallery and make a mark in the art community. They are welcoming all Indigenous artists, in all tangible art forms to submit their work and it will be shown in their gallery for over a month with the viewing public being able to be inspired by our history, culture and community.

Normally artists present three pieces of work which can include:

paintings, sketches, jewelry, bead or wood work, baskets and or corn husk dolls.

The price break down is 70% for the artist and 30% for the gallery.

Artwork for this event is to be brought into the North Star Gallery on Pearl located at 43 Pearl, Malone NY on October 27 - November 30

Paperwork is filled out providing the artist information title and description of the work, dimensions and price.

We look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to send out to other Indigenous artists that may also like to participate.
