Author Erin Lee Partners with the NNATC for new Children's Book

Benjamin and the Backyard Beast is a children’s story based on the life and adventures of Erin Lee. The story takes place along the St. Lawrence River and is an ode to her shared childhood memories with her father.

“I aim to raise awareness about important lessons based on social skills, life skills, and academics,” says Ms. Lee. “I hope that my stories will spark a love of reading and inspire younger generations to be the best humans they can be.” Lee shared with Choose Cornwall writer Sydney Smith.

Lee includes a Mohawk component, employing a team from Akwesasne to include. The Native North American Traveling College has worked in partnership with Lee to support this endeavour.
